DIY Tortilla Bowls

  • 6 Small Flour Tortillas
  • 2 Jumbo Muffin Tins
  • Vegetable or Olive Oil Spray

Step One: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 10-15 seconds if they have been in the refrigerator and are cold, this makes it easier to mold them around the muffin tins.

Step Two: Turn the muffin tin upside down and place one tortilla shell around each cup of the muffin tin. Gently mold it around the cup with your hands. Note: A muffin tin is larger than a cupcake tin. A cupcake tin is too small for this recipe.

Step Three: After you have all six tortillas on the muffin tin take your second muffin tin and place it on top of the first. Press down to mold the tortillas into shape.

Step Four: Remove the top tin and lightly spray the tortillas with the oil spray.

Step Five: Bake the bowls on the muffin tin for about 8 minutes. Check often so they don’t burn. Once they are lightly browned and crisp remove muffin tin from oven. Let taco shell bowls cool before serving.
